Cyprus, an island in the eastern Mediterranean, is the third largest island in the Mediterranean after Sicily and Sardinia. This country borders Turkey 70 km from the north, Syria 100 km from the east, Egypt 370 km from the south, Greece 950 km from the northwest, and Lebanon and Israel 170 km from the southeast. In 1960, Cyprus was divided into two separate states, and since 1974, the northern part is called the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

Northern Cyprus welcomes thousands of tourists by air and sea every year. In addition to the many sandy beaches in this country, the forested and green nature of Northern Cyprus is also remarkable.

The capital of this country, Nicosia, is the only common capital between two countries (North and South Cyprus) in the world. The official language of Northern Cyprus is Turkish, but most of them are also familiar with English. This country is one of the safest countries in the world with an unemployment rate below 5%, which has increased immigration to North Cyprus and residence in North Cyprus.
